We have a unique production line in China Jwell Machinery which can produce high barrier multi-layer co-extrusion sheets. The plastic sheets are made in different levels, and they all combine to allow food to last longer. This means that food will not spoil as fast which is very important for making sure that food remains safe and tasty for all.
How We Make the Sheets
To create these unique sheets, the process begins with melting plastics in a device known as an extruder. The plastic is heated in this machine until it melts. After the plastic melts, it is pushed through a form, which gives the polymer its shape (i.e. a thin sheet). The sheet is passed between rolls that both cool it and stretch it out, creating a nice even thickness.
Once we produce the plastic sheet, we co-extrusion it. Important, because it means we can stack different layers of plastic on top of each other. These layers may feature certain ingredients that help make the sheet even more effective at blocking air and moisture. This is essential for keeping food fresh while these sheets will help to keep it fresh. When all layers have been completed, the sheet passes through additional rollers so that it is smooth and uniform from edge to edge.
Why Layers Matter
We select the materials and additives for each layer carefully to make our sheets super effective at keeping food fresh. We use food-safe materials with great barrier properties. That closes the lid tight enough to prevent air, moisture and other culprits from spoiling the food. We also incorporate specific components called oxygen scavengers and moisture absorbers, which contribute to the efficacy of the sheets.
All the layers of the plastic sheet extruder have their responsibility. Some layers add strength to the sheet, and others allow it to be printed with designs or labels. Thus, depending on the number and type of these layers, and their stacking sequence, we can develop a sheet that has the best performance, ensuring that food stays fresh and protected from its surroundings for a long time.
Making Our Production Better
We are equipped with high end technology and automation systems to improve our production line efficiency. These systems are used to monitor all events continuously. That allows us to gain visibility into what is going on and to make immediate adjustments to ensure that processes are being managed in a smooth and efficient manner.
We also spend time to train our workers in how to safely and properly use the pe sheet extrusion machine. When our operatives are skilled and knowledgeable about our production process, it prevents delays and maximizes our production. Further, we do regular checks on our machines and maintain them so that they run well and give no problems, which is integral to keeping our production on track.
Keeping Quality High
We routinely test our corrugated sheet making machine to determine their performance, tensile, and other physical properties. These tests give us an idea of how the sheets perform in real-world scenarios. You are also audited regularly by your production line to identify issues and to make improvements where necessary. Our high level of quality control is an insurance that our sheets are going to fair as they should and do exactly what a customer needs.
